Child safety

MASKAX is a learning game for students in grades 8–12. We built it to be a safe place.

Students can send text and voice messages only to people they added as friends, and in groups they were invited to. Nobody can message a student they have not agreed to be friends with. There are no voice or video calls.

Phone numbers are never shown to other students. Friends add each other with a MASKAX ID only, and in matches you compete only with your own grade.

Every student can block another player and report a player from the chat. Reports go to the MASKAX team, who review them and act, including suspending an account. A problem with the app can be sent from Settings → Report a problem.

Matches are short and every question has a timer, which keeps play time natural.
